GET TO KNOW MEGAN IN 10 QUESTIONS:

What is your favorite thing about your parents? I admire how they fight for each other. Growing up, my parents never disagreed with each other in front of us kids. If they disagreed, they did it in private but to us, they were always a united front. It sent such a message that they are a team, so we learned to not pin them against each other. If we ever played the game of asking Dad after Mom already said no, it was bad news for us. It's something I want to instill in my family because I see how they have always put their marriage first. They used to tell us all the time that they had each other first.

Where is a place you would love to visit? Chicago has always been on my list of places I want to visit. I have heard so many great things about the city and the pizza. I am just slightly a nervous flier so I have heard flying into the windy city is a bit rough.

What makes you laugh? My husband! He is always keeping me laughing. I truly believe that laughter makes life so much better. I so appreciate people in my life with a sense of humor that don't take themselves too seriously.

What was your dream job growing up? I always thought that I wanted to climb the corporate ladder. I pictured myself living in NYC and having a dreamy corporate job. But I am so thankful now that my life does not look like that.

If you could eat with anyone living or dead, who would it be? DawnChere Wilkerson. I have watched her walk through infertility from afar for several years and I so admire how she has found joy in the midst of the struggle. It's very inspiring how she chooses Jesus every day, even though her life looks differently than she imagined. God is using her in very impactful ways and it's cool to watch.

What do you fear most? I fear getting to the end of my life and realizing I didn't make it count for the things that matter. We only get one shot at this life. I want my life to matter. I want to encourage people, love on them and inspire people to chase after Jesus with all that they have. I hope I can look back on my life and know that it mattered for the Kingdom of God.

What is your favorite thing about Auburn? I love the small town community. Auburn people are so passionate about this town and that is inspiring. I love that it's small enough to really feel like you can get involved, but also not too small. It definitely feels like home to me.

What is your favorite food? Anything basic. I have the eating habits of a 5-year-old. But really, chicken fingers, hamburgers, pizza are definitely my favs. I am pretty sure I help keep Chick-fil-A in business.

When you have an hour of free time, what do you like to do? REST. I tell people all the time that I am either 110% or 0%. Both Blake and I give so much at our jobs all day every day so when we are home, we love to just turn it all off and rest well. Our weekends at home together are something I treasure so much!

What is something many people don’t know about you? I cheered at Auburn! This surprises people that know me because I do not have a cheerleader personality at all. I grew up a gymnast and love the physical challenges that cheerleading presented. Cheering at Auburn were two of my favorite years! I will cherish the memories forever!
